Monica Roma is the Founder and Creative Director of Leoeventi, a boutique wedding and event planning company based in Italy and internationally recognized for its refined approach to elopements and intimate destination weddings.
With over twenty years of experience in the events industry, Monica has built her career at the intersection of wedding planning, venue consulting and strategic event design. Alongside planning bespoke celebrations for private clients, she has worked as a consultant for luxury venues, hospitality properties and catering companies, supporting them in event positioning, operational strategy and marketing development.
Her professional background also includes experience as a marketing manager and business consultant for selected venues and event-related brands, as well as a long-standing collaboration with catering and production companies at a strategic and creative level.
In parallel with her work in the field, Monica is a lecturer in Event Management, sharing her hands-on expertise with students and professionals through specialized courses and training programs.
Today, through Leoeventi, she works with a discerning international clientele seeking elegant, meaningful and impeccably curated wedding experiences in Italy’s most iconic destinations.

Angela has been collaborating with Monica for many years, and over time their professional relationship has grown into a strong and trusted friendship. Based in Rome, she personally oversees weddings and elopements across Central and Southern Italy — including Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, and Puglia — ensuring that every event reflects the elegance and precision that define the Leoeventi brand.
Energetic, reliable, and naturally talented in problem solving, she brings a calm determination to every celebration. Her ability to find solutions quickly and gracefully makes her an invaluable presence on wedding days, both as event coordinator and as ceremony designer.
With a background in social media management, she also supports the creative direction of event storytelling, capturing and curating moments that reflect the style and emotion of each couple’s experience. This combination of logistical expertise and creative sensitivity makes her role within the team uniquely versatile.
Event operation manager
Alessandra brings a unique blend of creativity, sensitivity, and technical expertise to the Leoeventi team. She began her career as a wedding photographer, working extensively with international clients in Italy and later in Dubai. This background gives her a refined eye for aesthetics, timing, and the emotional rhythm of a wedding day — qualities that now make her an exceptional planner and coordinator.
She initially met Monica while photographing several Leoeventi events, and a natural professional synergy emerged from the very beginning. After various successful collaborations, it became clear that her empathy, attention to detail, and natural elegance perfectly aligned with the values and style of Leoeventi. What started as occasional support soon evolved into a key role within the team.
Today, she manages the entire planning process with dedication and precision, guiding couples with warmth and clarity. On most events she also serves as event coordinator — sometimes independently, sometimes alongside Monica — ensuring that every detail unfolds seamlessly.
She is hardworking, gentle, genuinely kind, and beautifully romantic in her approach. Couples feel instantly comfortable with her, and her presence brings calm, reassurance, and heartfelt care to every celebration.
Weding ceremony offiaciant
Simona joined the Leoeventi team when Monica first needed assistance with certified translations and legal documents for international couples planning civil ceremonies in Italy. What began as linguistic support quickly evolved into a deeper collaboration during events, where she revealed a remarkable natural talent as a celebrant.
Her main role within the team is now that of ceremony celebrant, crafting symbolic celebrations with warmth, grace, and emotional intelligence. She also frequently assists as event coordinator, working alongside Monica or Alessandra to ensure smooth execution and a reassuring presence throughout the wedding day.
With a professional background in translation and interpreting, she brings clarity, precision and cultural sensitivity to every couple she works with. Her lifelong passion for classical ballet adds a distinctive elegance to her demeanor — visible in her refined gestures, gentle voice, and the poetic way she conducts ceremonies.
